Democratic strategist James Carville expressed on the Politicon podcast that Democrats are losing traction among younger voters and Black voters due to neglecting economic issues.
He stated, “Why are we forgiving student loans for people that go to Harvard? Which, as Scott Galloway accurately points out, is nothing but a hedge fund with classrooms. They have a $52 billion surplus. Why should taxpayers bail them out? Why not propose a tax on universities with endowments over $5 billion to fund relief for their former students?”
Carville further commented, “We all know our current situation. We see the polls. We are aware of President Biden’s age. Stop arguing about the obvious and start proposing solutions.”
