As the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden approaches, people are increasingly searching for information on specific issues that will be addressed during the debate. According to Google Trends, the top online searches in the United States currently include crime, wages, healthcare, unemployment, and the Supreme Court.

A real-time tracker developed by Google Trends, in collaboration with the Associated Press, shows that the top 10 most searched election issues are crime, Social Security, healthcare, unemployment, immigration, the economy, minimum wage, abortion, race, and LGBT. This tracker uses Google search data to determine which issues are currently receiving the most attention online.

In the past 10 days, interest in the economy, abortion, and LGBT issues has decreased, while searches about immigration, minimum wage, and race have increased. This suggests that these issues are becoming more prominent in the minds of voters as the election approaches.

The debate on Thursday is expected to focus on several of these issues, with Trump likely to target Biden over illegal immigration and economic concerns such as wages and inflation. Biden, on the other hand, is expected to focus on abortion and accuse Trump of being a danger to democracy.
