According to Tapper, the voters were divided into three distinct groups: liberals who felt Harris had not done enough to persuade them, progressives who were skeptical of her progressive credentials, and Republicans who were wary of Trump and wanted to hear more from Harris. However, Tapper observed that Harris’ focus was not on these groups, but rather on Trump.
In fact, Tapper estimated that Harris spent more time discussing Trump than she did on specific policy details. Although she did touch on her plans for small businesses and other issues, her comments on Trump dominated the conversation. With only 13 days left until the election, Harris and Trump are both vying for the attention of undecided voters, with Harris hoping to win them over to her side.
