Chiefs defender Isaiah Buggs is once again facing legal trouble.

The five-year NFL veteran is charged with felony second-degree domestic violence and second-degree burglary. He was released early Monday with a bond set at $5,000, according to Al.com.

Authorities used video footage from a neighbor, reportedly showing Buggs at the apartment, to aid in their search. Police eventually found his white Cadillac at a Little Caesar’s, where he was arrested.

Buggs, who denied knowledge of the robbery, was released Monday morning after a mandatory 24-hour holding period for domestic violence charges.

Subsequently, the Chiefs defender was re-booked into county jail Monday evening.

In May, Buggs was arrested after neighbors reported two “severely emaciated” dogs caged up in a property he owns in Tuscaloosa.

A 6th-round pick of the Steelers in 2019, Buggs has played for the Raiders and Lions. He is currently under contract with the Chiefs.
