A man from Chicago who was on parole for stealing $46,000 worth of items from a Prada store was involved in a robbery of a Louis Vuitton store in River North, according to police.
Kahdaffie Green, 25, had previously been featured in local crime reports for his criminal activities. Shortly after being released from jail for possessing a stolen vehicle, Green and three accomplices stole thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from a Prada store by blocking the security guard and rushing inside. Green pleaded guilty to this crime in early 2023 and served a 42-month sentence before being released on parole in July.
In December of the same year, prosecutors said Green and three other men robbed a utility crew at gunpoint, stealing an expensive sewer camera. Charges from this incident are still pending. Additionally, Green was linked to a mob raid on a Louis Vuitton store inside Nordstrom, where $210,000 worth of luxury goods were stolen. Security footage showed Green participating in the robbery.
Due to his involvement in the camera heist, Green’s parole was revoked, and he is now facing additional charges of burglary and theft. Another individual, Michael Bibbs, 18, has also been charged in connection to the Louis Vuitton robbery.
