Capitol Police Investigate Package of Cocaine Found at Headquarters

The US Capitol Police is currently investigating a zip lock bag found inside their headquarters building containing a small amount of cocaine.

The bag was discovered on the second floor in a heavily trafficked area by contractors and employees. The substance inside tested positive for cocaine. The investigation includes DNA testing of the baggie.

This incident follows a similar discovery of cocaine in the White House in 2023, which resulted in no leads after an 11-day investigation by the Secret Service.
