President Joe Biden stated Thursday on ABC’s “World News Tonight” that he would not pardon his son Hunter if found guilty in his federal cases. This interview took place in Normandy, France, where the president is observing the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Hunter Biden, the president’s only surviving son, is currently on trial in Delaware facing three felony charges for making false statements to acquire a firearm in 2018 while allegedly struggling with drug addiction. Additionally, he is set to stand trial on federal tax charges in California in September.
Biden responded with, “Yes.”
When asked by Muir, “Have you ruled out a pardon for your son?”
