Biden Administration Fails to Contain Border Crisis: Over 194,000 Migrants Evade Detection This Year

Roughly 194,000 migrants successfully entered the United States without screening and identification, according to a recent CBP report. The migrants, characterized as “known got-aways,” began crossing the southwest border in the Fiscal Year 2024, with an average daily influx of 500 individuals in recent days. Sources within U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed the numbers to Truth Voices.

The El Paso Sector accounted for the largest number of go-away migrants, with nearly 62,000 individuals entering the country illegally primarily in the Santa Teresa, New Mexico area. The Tucson Sector followed, with more than 54,000 known get-aways.

Since President Joe Biden took office in January 2021, Fox News reports that over 1.8 million known got-aways have crossed the border. These migrants eluded detection and were not apprehended by border agents, who observed them attempting to cross the border. Some are detected by camera operators or other technologies, but no agents are available to detain them.
