Previously, she wrote for the Columbia Missourian as a reporter on the education beat and was a contributing writer for Vox Magazine’s culture section. Jashayla is from St. Louis, Missouri. Her hobbies consist of yoga, online shopping, bingeing reality TV and trying new restaurants.
