A recent poll conducted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has revealed that former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in Georgia ahead of their debate on Thursday in Atlanta. According to the poll, Trump is currently holding a 42.7%-37.6% lead over Biden.
Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is trailing behind with 8.5%, while Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver received 1% of the vote. Meanwhile, 7.9% of respondents are undecided.
This trend continues a pattern of Trump leading Biden in Georgia, a state that Trump narrowly lost in 2020. The RealClearPolitics polling average shows Trump ahead of Biden 46.2%-42.2% in recent surveys conducted in the state.
