In Chandler, Arizona, a judge in a crowded courtroom dismissed charges against 71 protesters who were arrested in late April at the Arizona State University Campus. The cases were dismissed without prejudice at the University Lakes Justice Court. The Democrat Justice of the Peace, Tyler Kissell, ruled that the protesters are free to go but could face future prosecution if charges are filed within the next year. The protesters were facing trespassing charges.

Truth Voices Texas reported on the hearing where supporters gathered outside the courthouse to rally for the accused. The rally, organized by Mass Liberation Arizona, had around 100 participants who gathered outside the courthouse. The group aims to decarcerate Arizona by abolishing police and prisons. They openly support Hamas, as mentioned in a recent press release.

Interestingly, Mass Liberation Arizona is linked to the Mass Liberation Project in Oakland, California, which receives funding from the Tides Foundation through donors like Jewish billionaires Liz Simons and Mark Heising of the Heising-Simons Foundation. The group also receives funding from George Soros.

The defendants in the court hearing were accused of setting up an encampment on the ASU campus before their arrests. ASU issued a statement addressing the arrests and clarified that one of the 72 arrests made was not related to the Pro-Hamas protests on campus.

Out of the 71 defendants, only 20 were ASU students who were suspended by the university after their arrests. The students filed a lawsuit to reverse their suspensions, but Federal Judge John Tuchi denied their request for a temporary injunction. This means that some students will not graduate as planned and others will not be able to enroll in summer or fall classes at the University.
