House Speaker Ben Toma accused Democrats, specifically Representative Lorena Austin, of deliberately misleading Republicans to host the event at the Capitol. Toma expressed his disapproval of using House facilities for what he described as promoting a dangerously immoral ideology and announced that Democrats will no longer have access to reserve House meeting rooms until trust is restored.
