Actress Lori Loughlin, who spent two months in jail after pleading guilty in the college admissions scandal, recently spoke out in one of her first major interviews since the scandal broke in 2019. Loughlin acknowledged, “No one is perfect, we all make mistakes,” during a conversation with First For Women. She advised people to “let stuff go” for their own well-being. Loughlin emphasized the importance of forgiveness, stating, “We’ve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness, but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too.”

She reflected on the challenges of life, recognizing that we all face obstacles and make mistakes, but it’s vital to persevere. Loughlin, known for her roles in Full House and Summerland, shared her personal mantra of staying true to oneself and moving forward in the face of negativity.

Loughlin also highlighted the importance of empathy and understanding, suggesting we should consider what others might be going through before making judgments. She emphasized the ups and downs of life, urging individuals to pick themselves up and keep going, despite the challenges they may face.

As previously reported, Loughlin was sentenced in 2020 for her involvement in the college admissions bribery scandal. She served time in jail, completed community service, and paid fines for her role in the scheme. Loughlin’s husband, Massimo Giannulli, also faced consequences for his actions in the scandal.
