A suspect accused of punching actor Steve Buscemi in the face in New York City last week has been arrested by the police, according to sources. The suspect, identified as Clifton Williams, allegedly punched Buscemi on Third Avenue near East 27th Street in Kips Bay, Manhattan at around 11:45 a.m. on May 8. Buscemi, 66, suffered bruising, swelling, and bleeding to his left eye, but was treated at a hospital and is said to be doing okay. His publicist released a statement confirming Buscemi’s well-being and thanking everyone for their well wishes.
