Missouri Speaker of the House Dean Plocher has established a committee to probe crimes committed by illegal aliens, following a surge in illegal immigrant-related crimes across the country.
Plocher announced the committee’s formation on Tuesday, citing the alarming rise in crimes perpetrated by individuals who are not authorized to be in the United States. Committee Chairman and Republican state Rep. Lane Roberts emphasized that while the number of crimes committed by illegal aliens may not be as high as other groups, their impact is disproportionately significant.
Recent reports have highlighted a string of heinous crimes allegedly committed by illegal aliens. In New York City, a 25-year-old Ecuadoran was arrested in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl at a park. The illegal immigrant, Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, was taken into custody and is pending charges. He reportedly entered the United States in 2021 and admitted to recording the attack as he became more comfortable during it.
In Houston, Texas, two illegal aliens were arrested in connection with the murder of a 12-year-old girl named Jocelyn Nungaray. The suspects, whose bail was set at $10 million, allegedly lured the girl under a bridge and assaulted her for hours before she was killed.
In Albany, New York, an illegal alien from Turkey was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl. Additionally, an illegal alien from El Salvador was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape in connection with the death of Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five in Maryland.
A 26-year-old Haitian migrant, Cory Alvarez, has been released from jail in Massachusetts on $500 bail after being accused of raping a 15-year-old girl.
This month, an illegal alien from Ecuador who was previously caught and released at the border was arrested in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old girl.
