OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – Police in Oklahoma City are diligently working to identify those responsible for three murders that occurred within five days at the same apartment complex in southwest Oklahoma City.
The most recent incident took place Sunday night at the Will Rogers Housing Authority off Westwood.
“We had an officer in the area who heard gunshots,” stated Sgt. Rob Robertson from the Oklahoma City Police Department. “Shortly afterward, a 911 call was made reporting the gunfire.”
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man dead on an apartment porch.
“We don’t have any suspect information at this time,” Robertson added.
A similar incident had occurred five days earlier on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
“An adult male victim suffered gunshot wounds,” Robertson reported.
Another man was shot to death on the porch of the same apartment. Police were seen taking several people into custody, but as of Monday, no arrests had been made in any of the cases.
A woman was also found shot to death inside her apartment on Sunday afternoon.
“The initial caller was someone known to the victim, who found her in the residence and called 911,” Robertson explained.
Detectives are currently working to determine if there is any connection between the three murders.
“Homicide investigators looking into all three cases will decide if they are or are not related; they may be, or they may not be. We simply don’t know at this moment,” Robertson said.
The complex is also where a seven-year-old girl was shot in the face during a drive-by shooting in April. No arrests have been made in that case either.
