A woman named Fauzia “Ziya” Abashe has filed a lawsuit against podcaster DJ Akademiks for rape and defamation.
She claims that in 2022, Akademiks and another man sexually assaulted her after inviting her to his home in July 2022.
Abashe alleges that the men spiked her drink, served her alcohol, and then raped her on the pool deck.
She says Akademiks then raped her in a brutal manner, including both anally and vaginally.
Abashe also claims that Akademiks showed her surveillance footage of the attack and disposed of evidence after the incident.
Additionally, Akademiks is accused of defamation for suggesting that Abashe participated in an orgy.
Abashe’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, asserts that justice will prevail, and Akademiks denies all charges.
