White House Wrongdoing: Report Exposes Ethics Violations

A newly released report by The Public’s Trust has cast doubt on the Biden-Harris Administration’s claims of being the most “ethical” and “transparent” in U.S. history. The 26-page report, which contradicts former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s statements, alleges that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have consistently breached ethical standards and failed to uphold promises of a scandal-free administration, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the report, Psaki’s comments about the administration’s commitment to transparency and truth were misleading. The investigation also targets Psaki, who is being probed for an “apparent conflict of interest” as she prepares to leave federal service for a high-paying television job. The report further accuses the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Interior, Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, and the State Department of similar wrongdoing.

The report highlights the Department of Interior’s alleged history of prioritizing special interest policies over ethical considerations. This comes after a separate report by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-KY) found that Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chair Lina Khan has abused her authority and breached ethics standards to advance the Biden-Harris Administration’s agenda.

Comer’s report, released on Thursday, revealed that Khan had compromised the FTC’s independent mission by disregarding due process rights and violating ethics standards. The report also alleged that Khan had colluded with foreign regulatory regimes and had become a tool for the Biden-Harris Administration to carry out its ideological goals.

Meanwhile, The Public’s Trust report found that White House lawyers acted as Biden’s personal attorney during the controversy surrounding his mishandling of classified documents. Additionally, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre and White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates are being investigated for potentially violating the Hatch Act.

In response to the report, Director of Protect the Public’s Trust Michael Chamberlain warned Americans to be cautious of future claims from the Biden-Harris Administration and left-wing media that portray the administration as scandal-free. Chamberlain stated that the administration’s ethics record is marred by confirmed Hatch Act violations, conflicts of interest, and a revolving door between official D.C. and well-connected activist groups.
