Washington Establishment Turns on Biden as Damaging Leaks Emerge

It appears that President Joe Biden’s time in the Washington, DC, establishment may be coming to an end. A series of damaging leaks in recent weeks have targeted the Biden family, revealing potentially compromising information about their dealings.

One such leak, contained in a court filing by Special Counsel David Weiss, disclosed that Hunter Biden received $3,101,258 from Romanian partner Gabriel Popoviciu to “influence U.S. government agencies” during his father’s vice presidency. Although the filing stopped short of accusing Hunter of wrongdoing, it raises questions about the Biden family’s dealings with foreign entities.

Another leak involved a State Department document showing Hunter Biden’s efforts to secure U.S. government assistance for Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company that paid him $83,000 per month. The leak raises further questions about Hunter’s failure to register as a foreign agent for his work with the company.

A third leak revealed 117 pages of transcribed discussions between Biden and his ghostwriter, as reported by Fox News. The information was used by Special Counsel to portray Biden as a peaceful transfer of power, with Biden’s allies acknowledging the writing on the wall.

However, it appears that Biden’s usefulness to the Washington, DC, establishment is coming to an end. Reports suggest that former President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and other top Democrats played a role in pushing Biden out, according to the New York Times.

Biden later acknowledged that his Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate had expressed concerns that his continued candidacy would hurt their chances in their own races.
