Rock musician Kid Rock was brought on stage Friday night by former President Donald Trump, who hailed the singer as “one of the greatest entertainers of our time.”

Trump made the introduction in a prerecorded video shown on giant screens during the concert in Ocala, Florida. The former president also praised the concertgoers and urged them to continue to “fight for our God-given freedoms.”

“All of you in attendance are the true backbone of our great country; hardworking, God-fearing, rock and roll patriots,” Trump said in his video. “Bob is truly one of the greatest entertainers of our time. Let’s all continue to love one another, fight for our God-given freedoms, and most of all, let’s make America rock again!”

Trump concluded his message by donning a red ball cap inscribed with “Make America Rock Again,” a nod to his iconic “MAGA” campaign hats. He also shared footage on Saturday of the concert crowd chanting “U-S-A” together.

Kid Rock, born Robert James Ritchie, has been openly supportive of Trump in the past, even attending an Ultimate Fighting Championship match with the former president in November.

Kid Rock’s concert Friday was part of the Rock The Country tour with country musician Jason Aldean, which began in April. The tour’s inaugural show in Gonzales, Louisiana, featured former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson introducing Kid Rock on stage.

Upcoming shows on the tour will be held in Mobile, Alabama, from June 21-22, and will conclude in Anderson, South Carolina, from July 26-27.
