On Wednesday’s episode of “Gutfeld” on Fox News Channel, former President Donald Trump joined host Greg Gutfeld for a lighthearted conversation about his golf game and the recent security incident at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Gutfeld kicked off the conversation by asking Trump about his golf game, to which Trump replied that he hadn’t been focused on it lately. “Golf is a very dangerous game,” Trump quipped, referencing the recent assassination attempt at his golf club.
Gutfeld chuckled and added, “Especially when you’re playing, it seems.” Trump acknowledged the joke with a simple “Pretty sad.”
Gutfeld then posed a hypothetical scenario, asking if Trump would have attempted to take down the shooter with his 3 wood if he had known about the threat. Trump responded, “I think so, if I knew.”
However, he quickly shifted the focus to the Secret Service, praising their exceptional work in identifying the shooter. “They saw the barrel of a gun, a big gun, and he came out through the bushes,” Trump explained. “How many people would see that? He really was very exceptional to have done it.”
