Former President Donald Trump will be hosting a dinner at Mar-a-Lago for supporters who purchased his “Mugshot Edition” NFTs. Those who bought at least 47 NFTs valued at $99 each have been invited to the dinner, where they will also receive a physical trading card and a piece of the suit Trump wore when he was arrested last August in Georgia.
The NFT is based on Trump’s mugshot from the time of his arrest on charges related to the 2020 election. Some pieces of the suit will be signed by Trump himself. Those who bought 100 NFTs were invited to a VIP cocktail reception before the dinner, where they will also receive cards with pieces of Trump’s suit and the tie he wore on the day of his arrest.
Despite his ongoing trial in New York, Trump has been busy campaigning in swing states like Wisconsin and Michigan. He has been generating income through various means, including NFTs, with reports suggesting he made between $100,000 to $1 million in 2022.
In addition to the “Mugshot Edition” NFTs, Trump’s merchandise includes other NFTs depicting him in different styles, as well as items like Bibles, sneakers, and cologne.
