Burgum criticized the trial, calling it “election interference” and stating that Trump is already leading in polls. Ramaswamy labeled the trial as a “sham” and criticized the prosecutors and Michael Cohen. Donalds criticized Justice Juan Merchan and accused him of allowing his daughter to raise money for Democrats. Mills stated that Democrats are trying to keep Trump off the campaign trail and drain his resources.
