In a surprising turn of events, former President Donald Trump and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp appear to have put their recent differences aside, with both Republicans expressing support for each other in the wake of the Democratic National Convention.

In an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Kemp voiced his endorsement for Trump’s presidential bid, saying “We need to send Donald Trump back to the White House.” Trump responded with a post on Truth Social, praising Kemp’s words.

The governor’s endorsement comes as a surprise, given the recent tension between the two Republicans. Just last month, Trump had publicly criticized Kemp, calling him “disloyal” and “very bad for the Republican Party” during a campaign rally.

However, it seems that the two have put their differences aside, with Trump praising Kemp’s words and expressing his enthusiasm for working with him. In a call-in to Fox News, Trump said that Kemp had been “very nice” in his interview with Hannity, and that he was looking forward to having a “very good relationship” with the governor.
