Gunfire broke out on Tuesday during the production of rapper Lil Baby’s music video, resulting in three individuals sustaining injuries. The incident occurred in northwest Atlanta, Georgia, near a business area. According to Hip Hop DX, the victims include a 27-year-old man shot in the back, a 24-year-old man wounded in the arm, and a 23-year-old man hit in the neck. Fortunately, all three are expected to recover from their injuries.
Lil Baby, who faced drug charges in Paris in 2021, was not among those injured in the shooting. Authorities confirmed that the victims were not part of the video production team, but may have been associated with the overall production.
Witnesses described the shooting as “terrible,” with one individual delivering food to the set recounting the chaos. Police have not identified any suspects, and the victims’ identities have not been disclosed.
This is not the first time gunfire has disrupted an event involving Lil Baby, also known as Dominique Jones. In 2023, his concert in Memphis was abruptly halted when a man named Levin Young opened fire, causing panic among attendees. Young was later arrested.
