  2. We were in Nebraska my grandson having a transplant, and a couple took over my house. They stole all of my jewlery , lets just say if it had value it is gone . my windows busted out my house and doors kick in . this took place during covid. My husband and I had to rent a home until our home after 2 years to get them out of my house.

Step one buy new locks, step two a security system like simply safe with instructions to contractors to call right away when they leave the property so you can arm the system put this in a locked cabinet with power. For State and Local governments make this a felony, make the fines 6 months at triple the rent plus damage cost and trash removal cost and for prison jobs and after garnish 65% of wages until the debt is paid to the owner. and set up an eviction court with some judges specializing on squatters and others normal tenants. the judges dealing with squatters the process should take 7 days to present get a order of eviction and be able to get a sheriff or local PD to remove them. Or allow the use of lethal force on squatters as long as a lease was never signed you can use lethal force on all squatters over the age of 18 in all 50 states, DC and all US territories.

    To make a successful claim for adverse possession in Michigan, a squatter must meet one the following requirements as per MCL ยง 600.5801: Occupy the property for at least 15 consecutive years. Occupy the property, pay property taxes, and have color of title for at least ten consecutive years.

  20. I don't know about Ohio, but in Texas, if a home has no utilities it can be deemed "uninhabitable" by either the City Health Dept or Code Enforcement and the 'tenants' can be removed by order of the city…. ๐Ÿคจ

  32. I would go in there with 20 of my friends and start a party. This would be a party yhat no squatter would feel comfortable at lol. They would leave in 1 hour. BET!! Stand your ground there are more ways than 1

  34. Often time you'll find needles,syringes,buckets full of shart,piles and piles of garbage on the property and inside the home.If you lucky you'll even find dead body in the house or on the property.Its alot like the street of San Francisco.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

  43. Maybe this is because people leave their houses empty and unemployed people with no place to live and no ethics decide why notโ€ฆnobody is getting hurt by their fulfilling their need.
