Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama appeared on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” on Thursday, where he praised former President Donald Trump for refocusing his campaign message. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, had earlier in the day dismissed economic policy proposals put forth by his Democratic counterpart, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Host Larry Kudlow noted that Trump seemed to be “back on message,” prompting Tuberville to agree wholeheartedly. “A hundred percent,” the senator said. “The American people need low taxes, low regulations, and free market principles. We’re not giving them a chance under the Biden-Harris administration, and we won’t if we stick with the same playbook.”
Tuberville emphasized the need for change, criticizing the Biden-Harris administration for failing to deliver results. He questioned Vice President Harris’s promise to lower prices on her first day in office, asking why she couldn’t take action sooner. “Why wait until January 20?” Tuberville asked, implying that Harris and the Democratic ticket should be working to address economic concerns immediately, rather than making campaign promises.
