Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) joined MSNBC’s “All In” on Tuesday, where he shared his enthusiasm for Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign rally in Atlanta, describing the energy as “electric.”
Warnock, who had accompanied Harris from Washington, D.C. to the rally, said, “The excitement here is palpable. Even after the rally has ended, the energy remains. You can feel it in the air. As we drove through Atlanta, we saw people lining up on the streets, standing on bridges, waiting to catch a glimpse of the vice president. This is battleground Georgia, and we know that when we show up, we win. The path to the White House runs through our state, and I think Vice President Harris felt that energy tonight.”
Warnock also highlighted the contrast between Harris’s campaign and her opponent’s, saying, “If I, a African American man, and my colleague Jon Ossoff, a Jewish man, can win in Georgia, then Kamala Harris can certainly do the same. The difference between these two campaigns is stark. On one hand, you have a candidate with a questionable past, and on the other, you have a seasoned prosecutor. Furthermore, the contrast between Project 2025’s agenda, which seeks to cut vital programs like the civil service and Head Start, and Harris’s commitment to public service, could not be more striking.”
