Prince William’s alleged stance on his brother Prince Harry’s potential return to the royal family is causing concern among royal watchers. According to reports, the brothers have not spoken in over a year, and Harry’s desire to return to the family fold has been met with resistance from William.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond has stated that William has always been a strong character and has no intention of giving Harry access to the royal family again. Bond believes that William’s word carries significant weight within the family, and he has been prepared to take a tough stand on various issues, including Harry’s departure.
A former butler who worked at Kensington Palace has also expressed doubt about Harry’s ability to rebuild the bridge he burned down years ago. Similarly, Hilary Fordwich, an expert quoted by Page Six, stated that Prince William has imposed a strict ban on Harry’s return to the royal family.
Fordwich noted that even if King Charles were to open the door to Harry’s return, William might acquiesce to his father’s wishes. However, she emphasized that Harry’s biography, which criticized his family as spoiled and racist, has made it difficult for William to forgive his brother.
“To this day, after the release of Spare and the Netflix series, as well as everything else Harry has said, done, and not done, it’s Prince William who adamantly refuses to even speak to his brother,” Fordwich said.
