The Republican National Committee, former President Donald Trump’s campaign, and the Republican Jewish Coalition have released a new video comparing Trump and President Joe Biden’s responses to rising antisemitism in the country. The video coincides with Holocaust Remembrance Day and the upcoming anniversary of a surprise Hamas attack on Israel. RNC chairman Michael Whatley criticized Biden for his weak stance on condemning antisemitic violence and supporting Israel, calling for Trump to be reinstated as president for order and strength.
The video highlights pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses, some of which have turned violent, leading to clashes with law enforcement. Biden is shown in the video acknowledging the protesters’ passion, while Trump is portrayed visiting the Western Wall and pledging to confront antisemitism.
Biden recently addressed the campus protests and is set to speak at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Days of Remembrance ceremony. The Trump campaign criticized Biden’s handling of the protests, attributing the violence to his foreign policy failures.
CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition, Matt Brooks, emphasized the importance of reelecting Trump in light of rising antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment. He praised Trump’s leadership in fighting antisemitism and supporting Israel, calling for him to continue leading with moral clarity.
