Republicans: The Common Thread Among Conspiracy Theorists Just Like Racists

On her show “Deadline,” MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace argued that while not all Republicans are conspiracy theorists, all conspiracy theorists happen to be Republicans. She pointed out the rush among candidates in Georgia’s Third Congressional District to endorse Trump’s election lies, which have become a prerequisite in Republican Party politics. Wallace also highlighted the recent indictment of State Senator Jake Hoffman in Arizona for participating in a scheme to overturn the 2020 election results. She criticized the Republican National Committee for electing Hoffman to a leadership position despite the charges against him. Wallace reiterated that not all Republicans are conspiracy theorists, but the party seems to have a growing number of them in its ranks. She emphasized the importance of distinguishing between fact and fiction in political discourse.
