Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Dr. Debra Miller, following accusations of infidelity. McCormick, who has seven children with Miller and resides in Suwanee, Georgia, has been seen acting inappropriately with a female House Republican, according to sources on Capitol Hill.

The Daily Mail revealed that McCormick filed for divorce in early May and a mutual restraining order was issued. Witnesses claim to have observed McCormick and the female lawmaker engaging in intimate behavior during events and on Capitol Hill premises.

Despite these allegations, McCormick’s spokesperson stated that he and Miller had been separated for some time and he intended to keep his personal life private. McCormick was previously involved in a censure resolution against Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and faced accusations of physical aggression from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

An update revealed that Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-TX) was identified as the unnamed congresswoman involved in the alleged affair. The situation has sparked controversy and discussions within political circles.
