Now, with the release of his new song “Where That Came From,” created using AI technology, Travis’ iconic voice is back.
Warner Music Nashville co-president Cris Lacy approached Travis and his wife Mary with the idea of using AI to recreate Travis’ voice. Developers in London created a proprietary AI model using vocal stems from Travis’ career, resulting in a near-perfect replication of his unique vocal style. The emotional experience of hearing his voice again was overwhelming for Travis and those involved in the project.
