The Wall Street Journal has reported that many pro-Palestinian activists in campus “encampments” across the nation underwent months of training with veteran activists and groups before their recent invasions. These activists have used similar tactics, such as linking arms to push people out of their enclosures. The New York Police Department revealed that the funding for these encampments has come from around the world.
The National Students for Justice in Palestine (NJSP) has been receiving funding from a New York-based group called Wespac, according to the Wall Street Journal. Despite Wespac denying involvement in the encampments or coordination with the protesters, NGO Monitor listed Wespac among the organizations orchestrating the protests.
Wespac serves as a fiscal sponsor for various NGOs involved in campus protests, including Students for Justice in Palestine and supports anti-semitic rhetoric. However, Wespac claims to not support violence, anti-semitism, or terrorism.
