Polls Show “Never Biden” Voters Outnumber “Never Trumpers” for 2024 Election

A recent poll has revealed that in the 2024 presidential election, “Never Biden” voters are more prevalent than “Never Trumpers.” According to the poll, 52% of respondents stated they would never vote for President Joe Biden, while 46% said the same for former President Donald Trump. This marks a shift from the previous election in 2020. The majority of polls since November have shown a higher number of “Never Biden” voters compared to “Never Trump” voters, indicating a growing favorability towards Trump’s presidency since Biden took office.

The “Never Trump” movement originated in 2015 when Trump was gaining momentum towards his eventual Republican nomination in 2016, with many conservatives pledging to never support him. In the current 2024 election, a group of Republicans who oppose Trump have thrown their support behind former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who continues to attract primary voters despite Trump securing the Republican nomination. Trump is currently leading by five points in head-to-head matchups with Biden and by three points when third-party candidates are included, as shown in a recent Echelon Insights poll.

Both candidates have scheduled debates, with a CNN debate on June 27 and an ABC debate on Sept. 10, with additional debates in the works.
