GRAND JUNCTION, Col. — Shenting Guo, 32, was arrested by Grand Junction Police for allegedly stabbing a man and severing his penis.

On Tuesday around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Woodsping Suites following a report of an unresponsive man. According to The Daily Sentinel, the suspect informed police that an argument escalated, leading her to stab the man in the leg.

“She said she was not trying to kill him, but admitted to stabbing him because she was ‘so angry,’” the affidavit revealed.

After severing the victim’s penis, Guo went to the nearby City Market to purchase rubbing alcohol, antibiotics, and beer, but forgot bandages, as stated in the affidavit. She reportedly told police she went to the store because the man did not appear to be in pain.

When the victim expressed fear of dying, Guo provided him with ibuprofen, Propel Gatorade, and “greens,” but his condition rapidly deteriorated, according to the affidavit.

Guo faces charges of second-degree murder and is being held at the Mesa County Detention Facility on a $1 million cash bond.

Her court date is set for May 22nd.
