New York City Mayor Eric Adams appeared on The Reset Talk Show on GMGT Live, where he emphasized the importance of clarity for the Democratic Party ahead of the upcoming Democratic National Convention. According to Adams, Democrats need to present a clear message to the American people, outlining their vision for the country and their plan for addressing pressing issues.

Adams emphasized the need for a comprehensive border plan to address the influx of migrants and asylum seekers. He stressed that Democrats must be transparent about their approach and avoid ambiguity, as this could lead to confusion and ultimately, a loss of support among voters.

“We need to go to that convention and give a clear message to the American people,” Adams said. “We need to build a case on why we should continue to lead the country. We should be very clear in our message and do the right presentation that shows we can continue to lead this country.”

Adams warned that if Democrats fail to present a clear and cohesive message, they risk ceding ground to the Republican Party, which he believes has a clearer understanding of its values and policies. “We can’t blame them for having clarity,” he said. “We must make sure we have clarity on our message.”
