ESPN’s “College GameDay” has announced the hiring of Nick Saban, the legendary Alabama football coach, to join the lineup alongside Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard, and other hosts on the popular college football show. Saban will also make appearances on other ESPN football programs, including coverage of the NFL Draft and SEC Media Days.
After an impressive coaching career at Alabama where he won six national titles and an additional title with the Louisiana State Tigers, Saban announced his retirement in January. Despite enjoying some time off playing golf and relaxing, Saban is now returning to the football world with his new role at ESPN.
Fans are excited to see Saban bring his unparalleled football knowledge to the GameDay stage, adding a calm presence to the energetic atmosphere of the show. Social media posts have already showcased Saban enjoying his time with fellow hosts like Lee Corso and the Pat McAfee crew, hinting at the exciting dynamic viewers can expect from this new lineup.
