Despite being a pro-life advocate himself, Johnson highlighted the need for cultural consensus before any legislative action on abortion can be pursued. He also emphasized the importance of building a culture of life and educating people on the sanctity of human life. When asked about the possibility of presenting abortion-related legislation before the election, Johnson confirmed that it was not on the agenda.

Democrats, including President Joe Biden’s campaign, have been utilizing the issue of abortion to portray Republicans as extreme and a threat to women, with Biden’s campaign alleging that a federal abortion ban would be passed if Trump were re-elected. Trump’s spokeswoman, Karoline Leavitt, dismissed these claims as misinformation and maintained that the truth is known to the American people.
