Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina will be delivering the commencement speech at Liberty University. He is being considered as a potential running mate for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.

Other names on the short list include Governor Doug Burgum from North Dakota, Senators Marco Rubio from Florida and J.D. Vance from Ohio, as well as Representatives Elise Stefanik from New York and Byron Donalds from Florida.
