Left-wing organizations protest Biden at ‘Vote Uncommitted’ rally in Maryland ahead of primary

The movement against President Biden is gaining momentum in Maryland, with efforts to protest his handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict through the Democratic primary. Our Revolution, along with other groups, is organizing a “Vote Uncommitted” rally in Silver Spring to encourage Maryland voters to cast uncommitted votes in the upcoming primary election. The rally aims to send a message to the Biden administration to advocate for a permanent ceasefire and to end military aid to the Netanyahu regime. Early voting in Maryland will take place from May 2-9, leading up to the primary on May 14.

Similar movements have been seen in other states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, where voters have chosen the uncommitted option to express their dissatisfaction with President Biden. The goal is to show the Democratic Party and Biden that they are losing support among their base by not calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. Despite Biden’s calls for a ceasefire and signing a foreign aid package for Israel, anti-Israel protests continue on college campuses across the country.

The movement against Biden persists, with supporters urging voters to cast uncommitted votes to send a message of protest against the administration’s policies. Biden’s response to the protests and his actions in the Middle East continue to fuel the anti-Biden sentiment among voters.
