If the republicans retake control of all 3 branches after the election, they need to pass a law that makes it illegal to not enforce current border law. Make it a felony and start forcing out the people who are not following the law. The role of the executive is to enforce current law, they shouldn't be able the shuck that responsibility every time someone of a party gains office.

I just checked the latest numbers and confirmrd that Honest Joe is increasing local oil production and has been since the end of last year. It's now close to levels of Trump's last year. Nobody's heard about it from the media because that goes against the grain of Joe's green agenda. Makes him a hypocrit. Why isn't that enough oil, you ask? Over the past 12 months, the return to work transition (post covid) has resulted in an increased demand. Couple that with summertime travel and you have a shortfall. It takes about three weeks to convert oil into gasoline. Hence, the solution is not to further drain the SPR, but to drill drill drill! He pretty much has to anyway if he expects to refill the SPR. But he's not going to do that because he doesn't care how high the price of gasoline is or what the negative financial impact on the country's energy supply. This is just another election year political play. Unless it's an election year for Congress, r the WH, he'll do what he wants to do, not what we need him to do.
