Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, has released a new ad that urges voters to support Donald Trump. The three-and-a-half-minute ad, which premiered on Saturday, aims to create a sense of continuity between the Kennedy family and Trump.

The ad begins with a warning from President Dwight D. Eisenhower about the dangers of the “military-industrial complex,” before transitioning to footage of President John F. Kennedy and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy (D-NY), both of whom were assassinated. The ad then shows a young Robert F. Kennedy Jr. mourning at his father’s funeral, before cutting to footage of RFK Jr. joining Trump on stage at a rally last month.

Throughout the ad, the haunting melody of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain plays, with the refrain You would never break the chain serving as a metaphor for the continuity between the Kennedy’s and Trump. The ad’s message is clear: RFK Jr. is the next chapter in the Kennedy story, and Trump is the key to helping him finish what his uncle and father started.

Shanahan reinforced the ad’s message with a meme on Sunday, which has been widely shared on social media.

This ad is just the latest in a series of attention-grabbing ads produced by Shanahan’s team. A recent ad, which mimicked the style of pharmaceutical product ads, prescribed “Independence” as the cure for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
