Vice President Kamala Harris made a stop in New York City on Tuesday, as part of her ongoing media blitz, and sat down for a conversation with the co-hosts of The View.
Since launching her presidential campaign in July, following President Joe Biden’s sudden departure from the 2024 campaign trail, Harris has sought to carve out her own identity, separate from the policies of the current administration, which have been met with widespread disapproval from voters.
However, in a notable shift, Harris wholeheartedly endorsed the accomplishments of the Biden-Harris administration during her appearance, a move that did not go unnoticed by the Trump campaign.
The Vice President’s comments come at a time when Trump maintains a lead among swing state voters on key issues such as the economy and immigration, while President Biden’s approval ratings remain stagnant in the high 30s to low 40s.
