Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, Long Island. The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office confirmed the arrest, which took place on Tuesday, and arraignment in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court later that morning. Sag Harbor is a popular summer destination for affluent New Yorkers and a beachfront community on the eastern end of Long Island.
Representatives for Timberlake have been reached out to by Truth Voices for comment, but have not yet responded. The 43-year-old singer and actor is currently in the middle of the North American leg of his “Forget Tomorrow” World Tour, which began in March and is promoting his latest album, “Everything I Thought It Was”.
Timberlake has been performing shows across the country, including a recent show in Miami on Saturday. He is scheduled to perform at Chicago’s United Center on Friday and Saturday, and New York City’s Madison Square Garden next week.
