During a recent interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby criticized Hamas for not caring about the Palestinian people. Kirby stated that if Hamas truly cared about the well-being of Palestinians, they would lay down their arms, release hostages, and step aside. He also mentioned a recent proposal for the release of hostages that Hamas rejected, highlighting their lack of concern for the Palestinian people.

Kirby emphasized that there have been too many civilian casualties in Gaza, and stressed the importance of reducing the number of casualties to zero. He dismissed claims of Israel committing genocide in Gaza, but called for Israel to do more to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and work towards a ceasefire.

Kirby expressed frustration over the lack of progress in resolving the conflict and the ongoing suffering of civilians. He urged Hamas to prioritize the needs of the Palestinian people and work towards a peaceful resolution with Israel. Ultimately, Kirby emphasized the need for a ceasefire and a lasting solution to end the conflict.
