Irony Alert: Police Find Drugs in Bag Labeled ‘Definitely Not Drugs’

A bizarre discovery was made by Portland, Oregon, police during a traffic stop on a stolen car, highlighting the absurdity of a situation that was anything but. While conducting the stop, officers found a bag labeled “Definitely Not a bag full of Drugs” in the vehicle. However, the contents of the bag told a different story.

Police found several plastic bags containing fentanyl and methamphetamine, weighing over ten grams, a loaded revolver pistol, a stack of cash, and two scales. The discovery was made during a traffic stop near Southeast 162nd and Division on Tuesday night, after officers noticed the car was allegedly stolen.

The individuals in the car, 37-year-old Mia Rochelle Baggenstos and 35-year-old Reginald Lamont Reynolds, were taken into custody. Charges against them included delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Interestingly, prosecutors reportedly decided not to pursue charges against Baggenstos, despite the significant evidence found in the vehicle. Reynolds, however, is facing the aforementioned charges. The police’s discovery, while humorous in its labeling, underscores the seriousness of the situation and the importance of law enforcement’s role in keeping communities safe. The irony of the situation is not lost on authorities, who are left to wonder about the thought process behind the label on the bag.
