Police confirmed that a baby girl who was kidnapped from a New Mexico park where two women were found dead and another child was injured has been located and is safe. Eleia Maria Torres, a 10-month-old, was abducted from Ned Houk Park near Clovis after her mother, another woman, and a five-year-old girl were shot. The two women were found dead at the scene, and the child was critically injured. The deceased women were identified as Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen, both 23-year-olds from Texico.

Officers on the scene discovered an infant car seat, stroller, and baby bottle left behind, leading them to believe there was an infant child with the victims during the incident. The police immediately launched a search for the missing baby, Eleia. It was later revealed that Cisneros was the mother of both the five-year-old victim and Eleia.

An Amber Alert was issued the same day, as authorities believed that Eleia had been abducted and was in immediate danger. Thankfully, Eleia was found safe, and the suspect was taken into custody. The baby was taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police have not released details about the suspect and have stated that more information will be provided at a later time.
