On President Joe Biden’s watch, an illegal alien from Mexico successfully crossed the United States-Mexico border despite being wanted for murder in his native country. David Antonio Hernandez Ventura, a 26-year-old illegal alien, attempted to cross the border multiple times in March and April of 2021, but was turned back due to Title 42 restrictions. However, once Title 42 was ended by Biden in May 2023, Ventura managed to slip through as a “got-away.”
Since Biden took office, almost two million known got-aways have crossed the border. Ventura was eventually arrested in Fresno, California on local charges, leading to his deportation back to Mexico where he will face charges for murder and attempted murder. Despite a failed appeal to remain in the United States, a federal immigration judge ordered his deportation, which was carried out on April 24.
