Hamas released a second group of hostages on Saturday, following a deal facilitated by the Qatari government. The hostages, including Israeli women and children and four individuals from Thailand, were held by the terrorist group after a deadly attack in southern Israel on October 7. The release was initially delayed by Hamas, citing Israel’s non-compliance with the terms of the agreement.

According to reports, 17 hostages, including 13 Israelis and four Thai citizens, were transferred at the Rafah border. The International Committee of the Red Cross confirmed that the hostages were released and received initial medical evaluations.

On Friday, Hamas released 25 hostages, including 13 Israeli citizens, as part of another deal brokered by Qatar. However, Hamas demanded that aid trucks enter northern Gaza, causing a delay in the release of the second group of hostages. All information is sourced from reputable news outlets and agencies.
